Analysis of air conditioning in the foundry.

We conducted an air conditioning analysis of the factory interior space with ventilation from external sources during calm conditions.

The air conditioning analysis within the foundry examined the air conditioning of the factory space with ventilation from the outside during still air conditions. In facilities such as factories, functionality such as air conditioning performance and ventilation efficiency takes precedence over design considerations. When evaluating the ventilation and air conditioning performance of the factory space, even if the ventilation and air conditioning airflow are set according to the heat generation of each section, the air flow between sections does not guarantee that the living area is always maintained at the specified temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully consider the arrangement of nozzles and airflow settings. For more details, please download the catalog.

Analysis of Air Conditioning in Cold Storage Warehouse

An example of a freezer equipped with an automatic transport system was provided, and an air conditioning analysis was conducted.

The air conditioning analysis in a refrigerated warehouse was conducted using an example of a freezer equipped with an automatic conveyor. Air conditioning analysis has traditionally been performed in large spaces such as atriums and domes, but recently it has increasingly been applied to specialized spaces as well. Examples include automated warehouses, clean rooms, underfloor air conditioning, displacement ventilation, and food factories, each of which has stringent air conditioning performance requirements, making it difficult to set equipment specifications. Server room (data center) air conditioning analysis

Analyzing the effects of aisle capping in the server room!

In server rooms and data centers, there are many servers and IT equipment, and heat management is essential for their stable operation. As a countermeasure, the exhaust fans on the back of the server racks are positioned to face each other, creating a pathway (hereinafter referred to as the hot aisle) that primarily directs exhaust from the racks upward. Conversely, the intake sides at the front of the server racks are also positioned to face each other, creating a pathway (hereinafter referred to as the cold aisle) that primarily introduces cool air from the floor into the server racks. This arrangement allows for efficient exhaust. However, at the top of the server racks, there is a risk of drawing in high-temperature exhaust from the equipment (short-circuiting), so we considered countermeasures and conducted a comparison based on the presence or absence of a partition (hereinafter referred to as aisle capping) at the top of the cold aisle. Entrance hall air conditioning analysis

During the basic design phase, an air conditioning analysis of the entrance hall was conducted.

The entrance hall targeted for analysis is a large space with a height of approximately 20 meters. During the basic design phase, it is crucial to verify whether there are any issues with the temperature distribution and airflow in the living area based on the position, number, wind speed, and temperature of the air conditioning air outlets. This is very important for considering comfort and energy efficiency. Additionally, it is necessary to take into account the variations in conditions due to the seasons. In this analysis, we detailed the internal space of the building, the arrangement of the air outlets and inlets, and the thermal load, conducting air conditioning analysis for summer, winter, and transitional periods. Air Conditioning Analysis in an Electrical Components Factory

We conducted an air conditioning analysis using an electrical components factory with a clean room as an example.

The air conditioning analysis within an electrical components factory was conducted using a factory that has a clean room as an example. Unlike general architecture, where aesthetics (design) are emphasized, in facilities such as factories, functionality such as air conditioning performance and ventilation efficiency takes precedence over design. Even when achieving the same ventilation and air conditioning performance, there is often significant potential for cost reduction regarding the arrangement of ducts and outlets.
